The Sobey Art Award is widely recognized as the pre-eminent prize for contemporary Canadian artists of all ages. Presented annually by the National Gallery of Canada and The Sobey Art Foundation, the prize celebrates some of this country’s most exciting artists from six regions: Circumpolar, Pacific, Prairies, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic.
